Winter is here, and as residents of the great Northeast that means preparing ourselves for the inevitability of inclement weather. Although rare, it might be necessary to cancel Sunday morning Corporate Worship or weekday evening activities such as Monday night classes and Wednesday night Youth Group if roadway conditions become too dangerous for travel. We take the safety of our church family seriously by keeping a watchful eye on all weather advisories and storm warnings. And we will make sure to notify the King’s Chapel community of all weather-related alerts in following ways.
- Our website – Look for a special message on our home page if services are cancelled.
- Church Center -We will post a message and email the members in the King’s Chapel Group with cancellation information.
- Social Media – Check our Facebook and Instagram pages for a post indicating weather-related cancellations.
- Local News – Check the school closing ticker of your local news source to find out if services or weekday evening activities are cancelled. **Note: If you don’t see a cancellation posted by local news please also check our website, Church Center, or Social Media.**
Corporate Worship cancellations will be posted by 7:00 am on Sunday morning.
