Winter is here, and as residents of the Northeast that means preparing ourselves for the inevitability of inclement weather. Although rare, it might be necessary to cancel Sunday morning services if roadway conditions become too dangerous for travel. We take the safety of our church family seriously by keeping a watchful eye on all weather advisories and storm warnings. And we will make sure to notify the King’s Chapel community of all Sunday morning weather-related alerts on

  1. Our website. Look for a special message on our home page if one or both services are closed.
  2. The City. We will post a church-wide Topic on The City relaying cancellation information. (If you don’t have a City account, click here to register. And make sure to enable notifications!)
  3. Social Media. Check our Facebook and Instagram pages for a post indicating weather-related cancellations.
  4. Our Newsletter. If you are subscribed to our newsletter, you will receive an email about cancelations due to inclement weather. (Click here to subscribe to the biweekly newsletter.)

We will post cancellation information by 7:00 am on Sunday morning.

Stay safe everyone!
