One of the ways we try to bless our community is by being a part of the Venture Churches Food Pantry which helps to supply food to families in need within the Selkirk-Glenmont area.
Here are three great ways to help support the Venture Churches Food Pantry:
- You can donate a boxed cake mix to be included in their Thanksgiving baskets. If each family in our church were to provide one box, we’d fill the need of 80-100 boxes!
- You can come out and participate in helping to sort food taken in during the Boy Scout Food Drive on November 14th. We’ll meet at noon and will likely work for two hours.
- You can volunteer at the Food Pantry. The pantry is open on Tuesdays and they are always looking for volunteers to assist the community members that use their resources. Concact Diane Miller for more details.
