What is baptism?
Baptism is a picture and proclamation of our identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Water Baptism is symbolic of something which already took place in the heart of the believer the moment he/she was saved (Romans 6:1-10, 1 Peter 3:21, 1 Corinthians 12:13). Water Baptism then, is a picture of the spiritual baptism.

WhO SHOULD BE BAPTIZED?

Baptism is an outward sign for those who have repented and put their faith in Jesus Christ, we call it Believer’s Baptism. If you have repented of your sins and believed on Christ alone for salvation and you have not already been baptized as a believer by immersion we encourage you to follow Jesus’ command to be baptized.  (Matthew 28:18-20)

BAPTISM CLASS

Prior to your baptism, we offer a baptism class.  In  this class we cover the biblical significance of baptism, what baptism is and is not, and what baptism specifically looks like at King’s Chapel.  This class is required if you would like to be baptized at King’s Chapel.
